Who says you can’t look cute at the lake?
Surprise! You can, and without much effort. Sure, gym shorts and old tees still make it into my weekend travel bag, but sometimes a girl just needs to feel like she doesn’t resemble Jack Nicholson in The Shining even though it’s a high probability she does.
One of my favorite ways to “dress up” at the lake or while on a warm vaca {I use quotations because it’s a complete fake out} is to simply throw on a stylish mini dress or tunic and finish with a simple Panama hat and some sunnies. Unfortunately, I bought this gorge dress over a year ago while on our honeymoon in St. Bart’s, so it’s no longer in stock. However, I made sure to link some of my current favs that are in stock now and at all price points!
With fall quickly approaching, you may be asking yourself why you’d buy lake // pool // beach wear at this time of year? The reason is because of a little something called sales. Now is actually the best time to buy these pieces! Even though you’ll most likely only be able to wear this for a few more warm weeks {in Minnesota that is} don’t forget about your fall // winter vacations or busting these out at the first sign of sunshine next year. Planning ahead for these getaways is key to staying budget-friendly!
What’s your favorite way to look put together while you’re away?!
Xx, Amanda
