Look no further! Today I’m sharing my all time secret ingredient to my daily summertime cold press. You guys, this simple addition takes your morning coffee from deese mcgeese to sweet Lord almighty I think I’ve reached heaven in a cup. Something we’re all striving to experience each morning, right?! Me too.
Not only is this the most delish addition, but it is the absolute easiest. Okay, okay so there’s a teensy bit of prep involved in this little miracle addition to your morning cup, but trust me when I say this is easy peasey. In fact I don’t think it could get any more simple than this.
Organic Turbinado Simple Syrup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup organic turbinado sugar
- 1 cup water
- Seeds from 1 vanilla bean {halved and scraped into the sugar + water mixture} – optional*
- Mix the sugar and water in a saucepan and heat until dissolved.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and add flavoring {if desired} to the simple syrup. Steep until the mixture is cooled to room temperature.
- Place your Organic Turbinado Simple Syrup into the designated glass jar and store in the refrigerator until next coffee // cold-press fix.
